Food Friday


SESAME PHYLLO HALIBUT

4 - (6 ounce) skless halibut fillets (11/4 inches thick)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 - (14x9 inch) sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
butter-flavored cooking spray
4 teaspoons sesame seeds, vidided
4 teaspoons butter, melted

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

2. Sprinkle fish evenly with salt and pepper. Place 1 phyllo sheet on a large cutting board to work surface (cover remaining dough to keep from drying). Coat phyllo sheet generously with cooking spray, and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds. Fold sheet in half crosswise; drizzle with 1 teaspoon butter and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds. Place fish at 1 narrow end of sheet; fold sheet over fish, folding sides in envelope fashion. Coat envelope generously with cooking spray and place, seam side down, on a nonstick baking sheet. Repeat procedure 3 times. Sprinkle envelopes evenly with remaining 1 teaspoon sesame seeds. 

3. Bake at 425 deggres for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
